Fractional Radiofrequency
Fractional radiofrequency uses radiofrequency energy to micro-ablate the dermis layer of the skin. The ‘fractional’ term means that only the surface of the skin is micro-ablated in a matrix-like pattern, which significantly shortens the time the skin appears slightly red after treatment. Radiofrequency energy can stimulate fibroblasts through skin micro-ablation, leading to collagen proliferation and reorganization.
This treatment can improve a variety of deep skin problems, such as acne scars, stretch marks, rough pores, wrinkles, dark spots, and skin sagging. It is particularly effective against acne pits and stretch marks. After treatment, the skin will be slightly red for a day or two, and the next day there will be slight scabbing, about the size of a pinhead, which is not easily noticeable.
